Feb 17, 2003: Brisbane, and the rest of Australia, showed their feelings of the expected war on Iraq with up to 100,000 people gathering in Roma Street before marching through the city to the Botanic Gardens. Large numbers of people turned out all over Australia voicing their opposition to the US-led war on Iraq, with up to 500,000 people Australia-wide taking to the streets.
